Teenage girl threw herself off of a pedestrian bridge and landed on her head. Bystanders reported that they were surprised by the sound of the impact when her head hit the pavement.

People rushed to assist, but discovered that she had died instantly upon landing and so they started snapping some pics instead.

She had no ID on her so it took them about 20 hours to find out who she was. Once they did, it was determined that she was despondent over a recent breakup and cited that as the catalyst for her swan dive.

I'd like to hear the sound of that impact...like a busting melon.

You know where this took place, by any chance? I know Latin America for sure, but I couldn't tell Honduras apart from Colombia.
