Teen Picks Wrong Time to Fall Off of Bike
Not a lot of gore here, surprisingly, but it's a slow week and the images aren't poor quality, so here they are. This teenage girl was riding her bicycle when she apparently had some sort of accident that put her in the street. One witness indicated that she had run into another bike, but that was not confirmed. She was apparently uninjured by the fall, but was blocked from view by nearby traffic, which caused the driver of a large tanker truck to fail to see that she was lying in the road. He noticed her as soon as she stood up and tried to swerve to miss her, but didn't have enough time to avoid the impact. She went down again, considerably harder the second time, and didn't get back up. Witnesses called for an ambulance, but reported that she died after about five minutes of suffering-before the rescue crew arrived. In a surprising twist, the truck driver got out to try to help, rather than flooring it as they often do in these reports. Not sure exactly what her cause of death was, as I see almost no signs of trauma at the scene. Internal injuries and brain trauma, I'd suspect, but 'm just guessing there. I believe she was already deceased when the photo was taken, though she looks relatively intact for having been plowed into by a tanker truck. |

Re: Teen Picks Wrong Time to Fall Off of Bike
I don't necessarily disagree, though she was dead within five minutes of being hit. To my understanding (which is way fucking limited, I'll admit), internal bleeding injuries are usually fairly slow to kill unless they are VERY severe. Which I suppose hers may indeed have been. |
