This 16 year old girl was found by her mother after hanging herself with a cloth noose. Her note indicated that she wished to be buried next to her boyfriend, who had drowned last year while swimming. She no longer wished to continue on without him.

The two cut-down images are after she was cleaned up and being prepared for transport to the funeral service.

The mother, choosing not to live any longer without her daughter, attempted to kill herself by burning her house down around her after the daughter was buried. She survived the attempt and is now homeless as well as childless.

I would be far more critical if she killed herself days after her boyfriend died. Drama and such.

But a year. Pretty rare for a teenager to still feel so much pain after 1 year for a boyfriend. Especially one as cute as her. Poor lass.

Yes, the story was inconclusive about exactly when the boyfriend died. My translation of it came out to "within the last year", though whether that means the last 12-month cycle or simply at some undisclosed point during 2015 is anyone's guess.
