Re: Teen Girl Shoots Herself After A Fight With Her Parents
Some countries won't allow citizens to have 'military' caliber weapons, so guns are simply produced in other calibers. I think this is the biggest reason that .38 Super Auto is still around. Even though it is superior to a 9mm Parabellum. |

thats why firearm suicides amongst teenage girls are rare or uncommon. she never would have hung herself or used poisons had there been no firearms. the only fact is your bullshit fables about firearms you PETA-buttfucked liberal troll

Even with an abundance of firearms, females almost never use them as a means of suicide. If you want to go...you will go. Personally, I would rather OD. Slip out nice and quiet like without making too much of a mess for others to have to clean up. |

Re: Teen Girl Shoots Herself After A Fight With Her Parents
Eh. As long as you know what you're doing, I guess. I've seen some images on here where people fucked up and took the wrong cocktail and they looked anything but nice and quiet when they (and their inevitable mess of vomit, piss, shit, and nasal foaming) were discovered by their family. The gun may be abrupt and messy, but at least it's quick and fairly hard to fuck up with. Way too easy to screw up with a noose or pills or poison. Then you just wind up messy anyway, but still alive and probably half-retarded to boot. |

Unsuccessful suicide attempts are not uncommon with firearms either. Pills chased with booze followed by a ligature situated to restrict blood flow in the carotids would likely be my choice. AFAIK anyway. But, to each their own. |

It sure is! Makes sense since .38 Super is one of the few cartridges permitted in MX.

Re: Teen Girl Shoots Herself After A Fight With Her Parents
Yes, Italy is another country, they have 9 x 21 instead of 9 mm Para and .45 HP instead of ,45 ACP. The main reason why .38 Super Auto is still around is that IPSC-shoothers discovered that it can be loaded to major power in 9 mm-Division by using slow burning powders like VV 3N37 and get the compensator to work efficently when the bulk of the powder charge burns in the comp vents instead of in the barrel, behind the bullet. Drawback is that only single-stack guns are available (double-stack frames are too bulky and cumbersome) and you have to change mags twice as often during a stage/competition. |
