The tower may be closed, but tourists are still getting up there if you read the recent reviews on sites like Google Maps and Trip Advisor. It says in the reviews they are paying the security guards 500 baht per person for entry. Plus there are new videos posted on youtube every few weeks of people going up there, not to mention daily new posts on instagram. Thank you for your nice comment! I'm glad to hear this trifecta was able to peak your interest in the story. I hope others you show enjoy it too. I could try posting some of my contributions sometimes. There are some older ones I made that I thought deserved more attention, and other sets that can be remastered so-to-speak. I do have some technical questions, so if I do get myself to reddit, I'll send you a pm.  |

He was indeed a good looking young man. So tragic when a youth (or anyone, for that matter) feels there's absolutely no hope left and the only/best solution is suicide  |

Cool, good things to know, thanks! Is there a reason for the spacing in the URLs of the Imgur albums? And what counts as a source? For this case on the Ghost Tower, the only news articles are in Thai. Hopefully the Thai sources are sufficient. I've also noticed some Imgur albums pointing their only sources to other forums. So I'm not sure what the bar is on that. |

Yes they are sufficient. As long as it's a news article it's just fine. And Imgur does the spacing, I guess it's a glitch?

If you have ever seen a skyscraper construction site, you would know that they couldn't have built it on a graveyard, unless the bodies were buried 100 feet in the ground. Any graves at the 6 foot level would have disappeared on the first day of construction. What, and all the buildings on all 4 sides of that site were NOT built on a graveyard? It must have been a REALLY TINY graveyard. Sounds like a lame teenage urban legend story to me. |
