Re: Suicide Paradise
That first picture with the shoe on top of the bones is amazing. again I cant stop thinking of these people at thier last moments and now here we are viewing thier bones, with thier shoes on top of them!! Why do they want to go to the same place to kill themselves? Also dont they have enough money over there to clean up the bodies? I dont get it. How scary must those woods be. Two guys beat to death some retarded guy in the woods near my childhood home. One of the guys told the police what they did. Cop dogs found the mentally retarded guys knee sticking out of the ground. Those woods freak me out. Specially something about him being retarded and dying like that. Just sickening. The two guys were his family. |

Re: Suicide Paradise
It's true, the forest is called Aokigahara Jukai and is also referred to as the Sea of Trees. The local tour bus stops at Fugaku Fuketsu (Lava Cave) where the main entrance to the trails in the woods is. They do try to clean up the bodies, but deeper in the woods there are still probably many bones, etc. Also scattered in the forest, backpacks, pill bottles, books on suicide, etc. This year has been particularly busy with suicides because of the bad economy. The entrance to the trails in the woods has a sign that says something like: "Please think of your families", (if you are coming here for suicide). I went there a couple weeks ago just to take some pics in the woods and see if I could get any supernatural pics, and the police were there, said they had just found another body. They said I could still go walking back there, but I might see something (the rope still there, etc). The body had been covered, but not removed yet. People around here say that the place is so popular because all of the ground below the trees is lava, so the thought is that once you are lost out there, you can't find your way out, and no one will find you either, supposedly compasses don't work because of the lava. At any rate, it's a spooky place.
