This is actually just the way Chinese people communicates and expresses themselves. The semantics come off odd when translated to English but then again so do many non-European languages when translated back to English. You're hearing this from someone who has a lot of dealings with the Chinese people. |

This is mad. What happens in HK has nothing to do with HK peoples' rights. So many young men who know nothing about politics are instigated and got to the street. This is pathetic.

Imagine the British showed up and said that the US would be a free and sovereign nation, except your government officials would be British and we could extradite any US citizen to Britain to stand trial for speaking out against it. That's what Hong Kong is like. Young people are on the verge of losing their country because China are vengeful savages. They can't fuck with Britain, so they fuck with their colony.
