Re: Suicidal Woman Discovered A Few Minutes Too Late
The silver lining is the fact that she didn’t also kill her child. Idk when I had ppd I made attempts and what not, but never around my children. And when my husband left me for my best friend, I tried as well. (Embarrassing to admit.) but it was when the kids were with him. I don’t know how you can be so mentally fucked up that you’d kill your self with your child in the same house. Poor kid. (Also I only made attempts on my life when my kids were newborn and like, a year old. I can’t imagine doing so now. And that child was definitely old enough to remember what he saw for the rest of his life. Poor boy) |

Re: Suicidal Woman Discovered A Few Minutes Too Late
Balaan is actually correct. In my job I’ve had to deal with people in varying stages of depression. The scariest I’ve had was this guy who was just completely disassociated from reality. I drove him down immediately to a properly trained counsellor, who called me back and told me I was right; this guy wasn’t very far from killing himself. We have all experienced depression and sadness in some form, but it is important to understand that there are varying degrees and in some of them the person has almost no more grip on what is going on around him or her. Yes what this young mother did is without doubt a dick move, but who knows what she was going through or why. |
