31 year old woman had rented a guest house for herself and her 8 year old son. After she put the boy to sleep, she apparently proceeded to tie off a noose and hang herself in the room next to his.

The boy was awakened by sounds of his mother struggling for breath and kicking her foot against the doorway as she did the Noosedance. He opened the door and saw her dangling-and-strangling whereupon, in a rather admirable feat for an 8-year old child, he procured a knife and clambored up onto a nearby bookstand to saw the rope and cut her down. After doing so, he called for an ambulance.

According to the news report, the woman was technically still alive when they arrived, and thusly is also sort of alive in the photos taken here. But she was in the noose long enough to have done permanent irreparable brain damage and, according to my information after sifting through and translating over 300 comments on the original news story, she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

It's possible she was dead already and 'heroic measures' were demonstrated for the onlooking child's benefit; that's been known to happen before. No way to tell definitively here, though. She's either been dead for only a few minutes or she's only a few minutes from death, one of the two.

Yeah the poor kid had to watch mom struggle with piss all over herself.
I guess idk wtf would drive her to find that as the only option, and leave her kid all alone.
God help her kid find some peace.

I was trying to find some additional photos, and I noticed that the mother was referred as Ms (instead of Mrs) in the posts and the kid's surname was the same as the mother's.
