Re: Streets of Blood
I had similar concerns. However, the only antemortem that was from 2018 was the group photo where she's with the four guys and wearing long sleeves. All of the sleeveless ones were from 2017 or 2016. So yes, I am assuming that she's gotten most of that ink done in the last 18 months or so. Also note that it seems to basically be one large connected tattoo as opposed to a bunch of individual ones. This photo was also somewhat recent and features her and her boyfriend who was killed with her, but again her arm is obscured. I am unequivocally certain that the antemortems and postmortems are the same person. Sometimes I have a little doubt when I post antemortem images and usually mention as much, but I am 100% certain in this case. She is definitely the dead girl in the rainbow-colored blouse. |

Re: Streets of Blood
Usually, yes. That said, I'm not actually sure that's what happened here. The two have been together for at least five years and elements of this 'lifestyle' really only began to manifest in the last year or so. Obviously, I didn't know either of them and I can only draw my conclusions from photos, Facebook posts, and remarks made by their friends, family, and the police. It seems to me, though, that they both sort of started chasing the game later in life and that she wasn't initially drawn to him because of it, as he wasn't involved in it. Several of their family members are denying even now that they were involved in drug trafficking at all, but I also get the impression that they're in a lot of denial, which is often the case. Whatever it was they were chasing, all they caught was bullets. Pretty bad end for both of them, though moreso for her I think. He took one to the back of the head from an assailant he never saw coming. She had to watch her boyfriend's head get blown off and then got chased by gun-toting assassins for half a block while she ran for her life in terror and pain, first catching one in the shoulder and then finally the side of her head. |

Re: Streets of Blood
As is sometimes (albeit rarely) the case, months after the actual event, I happened across an additional source with postmortem images that none of my original news sources included. Original post updated accordingly. Enjoy. |
