Multiple bruises of different ages and multiple fructure ribs at different stages of healing and infected dry burn at the sole of the foot were SURE signs of child abuse in the case of this young boy. Burns at the sole of the foot were caused by a metallic surface. Old nail abrasions on the sides of the neck were noticed, the step mother admitted that she used to put pressure on child's neck to put him into sleep. A subdural haematoma was the ultimate cause of death.
