The southern Russian republic of Chechnya - surrounded on nearly all sides by Russian territory but also shares with neighbouring Georgia a remote border high in the Caucasus mountains.

The territory is rich in oil and has a population of about 1 million. Chechnya has two religions, Muslim and Christianity and has seen two wars within a little over a decade. The area is known for its organized crime, warlords and rebel factions.

The rebels have sworn another so called holy war against Russian dominion. The region is said to have had civilian casualties of 50k to 100k in the decade of war.

Russians may not have cold-bloodily killed kids in a Beslan-style
school attack, but that doesn't mean they have been nice guys.
These wars have been going on for hundreds of years, taking
the proverbial 'eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth', and there
are far too many blind and toothless and dead Russians and
Chechens, kids included

I don't disagree. NO country is much better.

If you want to fight. Keep it to armed groups or at least adults for planned targets.

Chechens have their murderous dogs I agree but what does russia have? lets see..

-Big fuck off army that when left off the leash, will kill, rape and pillage anyone and anything in their way. Georgia suffered this when they wanted to stop the north separating I believe.

What did Nato and USA do? Nothing, they were to scared of the reaction it would provoke.

-Russian soldiers are nothing more than headhunters out for a jolly
-Russian artillery and air strikes literally flattened Grozny and surrounding areas. the word precision was never mentioned.

Point, shoot, enjoy the fireworks.

Then Russia has the balls to declare it suffers from terrorism? Good. They deserve whatever comes their way and guys, if Russia does kick off, just hope we wipe most of it out otherwise the world is theirs.
