Stabbed in the Abdomen by Husband
Earlier today this approximately 30 years old burmese woman was killed by her husband, a burmese immigrant to Thailand as well. He stabbed her in the abdomen with a knife. If I understand the story correct, he left her back with her kids, but why they had their domestic dispute on the side of a road is a mystery to me. But at least there is no doubt about the gender this time. |

Re: Stabbed in the Abdomen by Husband
I usually don't make much of the "sad" comments, even if I know that they are well meant and welcomed as such, also by me - they are almost always true in the cases we see here. After all posts of 85 years olds, who died peacefully in their bed with the loving family around are very rare here But this case is a bit different, also to me, so I'll make an exception and comment on it myself. Image #01, #02 and #05 are from another source, smaller, and in almost any other case, they would have been left out. They are here because of the kids. #01 and #02 are almost the same, except for the boy (?) to the right, who looks at his dead mother in the first image and the audience in the second. I feel that I can see the sorrow in his eyes even through the mercifully placed blur over his face. Maybe it's just me, but that's the sole reason both images made it to the post. |

Re: Stabbed in the Abdomen by Husband
In my experience (and I have some, also from real life) children react much more silent and introvert compared to many adults. When it comes to images like these, we are left with our own interpretation of the fraction of time they show. Which means that even if I disagree, your interpretation might be as valid as mine, as they are created in different minds albeit by looking at the same images. |
