Re: Speeding Car Hits Tree in Mexico City Leaving Two Dead
![]() I used to have one of those Jettas, it was swell, but you have to be an idiot to speed one of those, no electronic safety systems or any of that modern robotic high tech shit that may save your life or not (TESLA KILLER CARS) |

Re: Speeding Car Hits Tree in Mexico City Leaving Two Dead
I spent decades speeding through mountain twisties in a 60s and 70s era sports cars. Never had an accident. I kept my cars in good condition, I drove within the capabilities of the cars and road conditions. I'm a damned good driver. There is no connection between the joy of driving and robot cars. People only get robot cars so they can surf the web on their smart phones while the robot drives. And they have no reservations about the carbon footprint of driving around a ton of batteries that will need to be landfilled in 5 years. :agree: :agree: :agree: |

Re: Speeding Car Hits Tree in Mexico City Leaving Two Dead
You can use a chain saw to fall a tree at 1 cm/s with time spend of 5 minutes but you cannot fall a tree using a ton of car with a speed of 120 Km/h hit onto it in less than a second.
