Lots of variables to human decay, but the body was apparently outside, above ground, and didn't appear to have any obvious large animal predation. Typical blow fly maggots can reduce the average sized exposed body to skeletal remains in as little as 10 days under most outdoor conditions.

That’s interesting I read one article that said that a body skeletonizes within 5 years and then another article said what you said.

They have some wild dogs and big cats in Brazil.. but dont know if any are rly in that area. And larger animals would likely have scattered her bones. The hot/humid climate may be most of what put her to bones qwikly. |
