Skeleton of Murdered Old Woman Who Has Been Missing for a Month
A skeleton of an elderly woman was found in a rural area of Ilhéus, Bahia. The victim was identified as 73-year-old V.L.V.V, who had been missing since 19th June. She was identified by her dental records. According to the Civil Police, the victim was the target of a kidnapping with extortion. The criminals demanded a payment of 1 million reals (around $210,000) to release her alive. Despite negotiations, no proof of life was provided by the kidnappers, so the ransom went unpaid. The police deputy said investigations were ongoing but, due to the need for confidentiality, he could not provide further details about the case.      |

That’s crazy. It’s only been a month and that’s what has become of her body? There must have been a lot of vultures or other predators in the area that she was found.
