11.14 The position of the body in the water largely depends upon the amount of water in the lungs and stomach (see Fig 11:1). In drowning cases where there is little water or no water in the lungs and stomach, the body will be in an almost upright position. I'm ok with bloaters...as long as they don't have the bulging eyes!! I don't mind corpse eyes in general. It's only when they are bulging or popped out of the eye sockets!
