Re: Siblings Wiped Out By Cow on Easter Sunday
In areas it happens and like someone said here, if you hit the cow on the road in grazing areas with signs warning you about the cattle you are held accountable. On the flip side of that, if the cow hits you, the owner is. But....if you put two rotten twats on a bike without helmets and watch them whistle dixie into the sunset at high speeds... I would personally reflect on my apparent shitty parenting skills rather than blame a cow and a fucking farmer for my loss. |

Re: Siblings Wiped Out By Cow on Easter Sunday
Given that the bike has clearly been moved to the side of the road and stood up in that image, I would guess one of two things: 1. The helmet belonged to one of the kids, but was not being worn at the time of the crash. Perhaps slung on the side or whatever, as is sadly often the case. or 2. The helmet belongs to one of the many people who stopped to try and help the victims and the passerby removed it and set it on the side of the road so that it did not interfere with his ability to help at the scene, assess, provide CPR, whatever. Just speculation on my part, but the report was clear that neither were wearing helmets at the time of bovine impact. |
