I had a very close friend commit suicide in the same type of manner in 2008. He actually used a high powered rifle. Myself and his girlfriend had found him 2 days after the suicide. The entire room and even half way back the hallway was covered in blood, brain and several teeth were scattered around the floor. It was very ugly. Come to find out she was cheating on him. He had tapped the house phones and had the tapes and suicide note laying right beside him covered in blood. I saw the tapes and note laying there but touched nothing in case it was a murder. State investigators later told me what was on the tapes and note. I still miss him. He had been a close friend since childhood.
In any case the "crime scene" looked a lot the same as the one in the picture.
