Well first pic shows the rifle on the ground so the big gash up the side of his face is more likely where the bullet ripped through more than a slash with knife or machete.

Yeah, I kinda have to agree with you on that. He's lying on the barrel / muzzle, and the slash is right where the muzzle actually is. The slash wound is also too large for a generic blade, unless it was some kind or really huge machete the guy used. Then again, I don't see any powder stains on his cheek, which would be very visible is he was shot that close with a firearm. Although the gash itself does look like something created by a bullet flying past, and at that distance, also exacerbated by the extremely hot gasses following the round. But as I said before, if that gun did go off at the current distance, there would be powder residue, which would leave a nasty black stain on the cheek. In conclusion... I have no fucking idea.   |
