Brandon Lee was killed onset by another person while shooting a movie, not himself.

Brandon Lee died on a film set due to a prop malfunction. He was not playing around, he was working. In the film there was a prop gun that had a bullet placed in in during a previous take. Subsequently a blank was loaded in the gun for Brandon to fire at himself. When the blank went off it ejected the bullet that was previously lodged in the gun, killing him. |
