In 2016 a woman was found in the outskirts of Changsha, Hunan province. She was pregnant and had been beaten to death with a stick shoved up her vagina. She was identified and discovered to be the mistress of a local court official. His DNA was found inside her vagina and he was brought in for questioning. The official admit of having the affair and CCTV identified the victim and him arriving at the Seven Days Inn and leaving two hours later. The victim was tracked by CCTV and was followed by an unknown male who eventually pushed her into an alley. A Wuling van was tracked leaving the alley which eventually leaved the city limits towards the area where her battered body was discovered. Eventually the van was tracked down, three people were arrested for the crime. The official’s wife who had discovered the affair was jealous because she could not have any children had convinced her cousin and his friend to help her “convince” the mistress to leave her husband alone, a payment of 40 thousand yuan was promised for their help. But the wife beat the mistress to death in a fit of rage after the abduction and the panicked trio dumped her body in the outskirts of the city. The victim leaves behind a 3 year old daughter from a previous marriage.

It seems like in the patron/mistress relationship, all is well until she gets preggie, then murder and mayhem starts! Several articles on DR where the wives are the ones who beat and kill the preggie mistress. But per general Asian culture, the wives usually look the other way as long as possible. But a little bastard brat in the neighborhood ... hard to explain. So best to get rid of the mistress mommy.

Abortions in China are legal, and not considered taboo as much as in the USA. A mistress with a kid from former marriage, and then getting preggie from a married court official. Akyan: wouldn't you expect her to just get the abortion and not even tell the guy? Here she is showing, well down the road to delivery. What's with that? Was she negotiating him getting divorced and marry her? His wife is stone cold insane criminal, so I will bet he was thinking about dumping her! So maybe the mistress was making a bet that she had a chance of winning. But lost. Akyan, you know that culture. Is the court official likely to just go on in his job, or will there be bad effects on him? Of course, his wife is toast, right? I always like to know the back stories. |

It's common for men with means to have mistresses and common to have children from these relationships. A lot of wives know about these relationships and allows it. This one didn't and will most likely face the death penalty as she killed not one but two people. Abortion is legal in China, but it's also a easy life for a mistress especially if they have children with the man in question as the man with means will usually provide as long as he continues to live with the means. Most mistresses who end up having children with their patron has an apartment bought by their patron with monthly allowance. If the man falls from grace or becomes poor, then the mistress is shit out of luck.

Akyan, one more question if you know: did the court official get off, or are there negative career consequences to him for this? I wonder if he was part of a conspiracy? If wife caught him, it'd be natural to go "oh gosh, honey, I love you soooo much! Let's get rid of the bitch! SHE TRAPPED ME!"
