Look I've had plenty of my own excellent contributions stolen by that fucker Meatpie, but I agree these watermarks are a bit much. Why put them directly over the corpse? Surely we can put them around the sides, or slightly off center? The corpse is the main star of the show here, it would be like trying to watch the news but the NBC logo is blocking the anchor's face.

The watermarks really aren't that bad.. Unless you are trying to redistribute these elsewhere, create some spread/prints or have some ocd (personal issue) they aren't even covering anything significant for the content of this board.

This beats numerous threads with censored pics or, a censored pic and 100 antemortems or random pictures that don't show anything..

Imo, If op feels this helps secure their effort and credits DR as the board, you should deal with it.

Maybe OP doesn't want watermarks that are easily cropped out or blacked out.. These watermarks, as deemed necessary by the OP, don't obscure anything that would be considered censorable (or otherwise good content).
Can't be cropped out and if they are blacked out then it really becomes an obstruction to the picture. Just being nitpicky, ocd, or have desire to redistrubute imo.
This quality of content is increasingly less represented here, only a few seem to be able to get it and it's possibly paid content, his choice.

Idgaf about meatpie. Personally, I'm not gonna watermark anything I didn't produce or aquire myself (i.e sets gained from the original source, not another webpage).

I totally agree...that's why i recently started placing them better so it won't ruin the images for the viewers.
