In many cases, it is used to demonstrate the presence of petechiae on the sclera, which would often indicate a death by asphyxiation of some sort, usually strangling or hanging. Even without petechiae, postmortem examinations are meant to be exhaustive and comprehensive. Most postmortems performed in the United States have dozens if not hundreds of photos taken, depending on the nature of the death. In a possible homicide, they are even more thorough. For each photo set presented in this rather dubious thread, there are probably numerous additional photos that were not leaked. Unlike most of the photos in this section which come from bystanders or media photographers, these Chinese morgue photos are illegally leaked for profit by morgue/ME employees. As a result, they often withold portions of the sets to entice buyers to make future purchases in order to complete them. Since the OP of this thread likely picked these up randomly around the net and did not buy them himself, he probably only had access to small portions. But the fact is, there are likely photos of every single body part and organ for most of these women just waiting to be paid for. |
