Selfie Misstep Swan Dive
23 year old woman was on the penultimate day of her vacation when she allegedly approached an overlook and tried to take a selfie while standing on the precipice. According to witnesses, her footing slipped and she took a 40-meter header down the hill. She was screaming the whole way down but silenced on final impact and was stated to have been killed almost as soon as she hit the rocks. Looks like she lost her shoes at some point in the fall. Same thing happened to a college girl in the Ozarks last week, but we won't get any photos of her splattered at the bottom. |

It's the 'stupid generation'. I think that 80s kids were the last 'normal' people!

Re: Selfie Misstep Swan Dive
I totally agree! Being one myself, I think we were very fortunate to live in the world before cell phones, selfies, facebook and all the other stuff existed. And we also get to experience life in the computer age... Is that what it's called? Lol... See what I mean? Blissful ignorance!

Exactly, haha! I'm so glad that I experienced childhood without the internet! I didn't start using the internet until 1999 (when I was 16) + even then it was nothing compared to what we have today.

You're talking about Hawksbill Crag here in Arkansas Vedderman. It happened again this weekend at the same bluff. That's three times this month.
