Re: Scooter Girl - with Pointer

No matter the brand it should have helped her in this type of accident. But of course only if it is on and correctly fastned.

It doesn't look as if it were in this case. It is off her head, it looks to me to be undamaged and without any traces of blood, even if she has spilled a lot of blood on the street. So maybe it was just somewhere on the scooter, or she didn't fix the strap under her chin, so it flew off.

Btw - I remember a story from my youth (mostly told, I presume, to have us wear helmets while riding moped - didn't work, as nobody wore helmets or even had one, but back to the story): A man on his motorcycle were blocked in some sort of accident, so he flew forwards and headed into a telephone pole (they were wooden and very solid back then). He suffered no serious damage, but he cracked the pole with his head. Morale: Wear helmet, idiot. But as with so many stories with a morale, which adults tell youngsters, it might not be true . That didn't matter, however, as we - as usual - didn't listen

Re: Scooter Girl - with Pointer

Thanks.
I posted the Shoei logo because it looks like Index stole the design ;)
Didn´t read good thing about Index when i googeled it yesterday.
From what i know, shoei and index have the same mother company. shoei are supposed to be used by offroaders and anyone who frequents loose particle roads. they need tougher external surface to push off any solid bits they encounter when they fall on the ground. supposed to shove away any hard but loose road objects (Pointed rocks, projecting sharp branches and such that can be found on dirt roads, mud roads and snow) away from your head. index are for more solid roads. made with more internal cushioning but lower external breaking point so that your head will not bounce hard off the surface on very fast and hard impact.

He's pointing out those cool black and yellow shoes.
