This is what I found as a background for those pictures :
this took place 2007 in santa ana prison, venezuela. a group of prisoners killed a total of 21 fellow inmates in the most bizzare ways. el salvadors authority dont have much money and the jails are overfull, also criminals of compete gangs are being put in the same jail....

the killingspree starts when one inmate attacks a prisonguard. the other guards run away cause they are scared in an attempt to get backup. now the other prisoners have free hands to fuck up them 21 guys they didnt like too very well

17 killed in El Salvador prison riot

Hundreds of gang members have led a bloody prison riot in El Salvador, leaving 17 prisoners dead.

Some prisoners were decapitated, authorities say.

Police say at least 500 members of the Mara 18 gang were involved in the riot at the Apanteos Prison near Santa Ana, 66 kilometres west of San Salvador.

National police official Douglas Omar Garcia has told AFP 17 prisoners "were killed during a riot by the members of Mara 18".

He says anti-riot police have taken control of the jail and some prisoners will be transferred to other prisons.

Human rights prosecutor Beatrice Alamanni, citing reports from her collaborators and security sources, described the scene inside the prison as "horrible, a massacre" and said the prison was heavily damaged.

"In this monstrosity you can see feet and heads under rubble inside the cells," she said.

Police deputy chief Jose Luis Tobar says prison guards tried to control the situation by firing their guns in the air, but the prisoners refused to return to their cells and started breaking doors and walls.

He says the prison later called on the military and police to help control the situation.
