You don't have to worry about sabotage if you involve drunken Russian workers. They might have assembled it upside down, and put the fuse directly into the bang charge, instead of putting it into the rocket propel charge.

~ I would say he qualified himself, because of his rank, to fire off some professional pyrotechnics, while drunk.
~ The 6" caliber SLK professional pyrotechnic fireworks didn't misfire, but it 'was supposed' to be supported upwards, thus it tipped over & fired on his head instead.
~ They're the kind that has a cart that holds them & allows for aiming up. I don't think he had one for that.
