In Yegoryevsk, near Moscow, handcuffs saved the life of a policeman. The bullet fired by the intruder hit the chain and got stuck. The cops, who arrived from distant Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, wanted to talk as part of a drug-related criminal case.

The man, barely seeing the police, began to shoot back. One bullet hit the chest of A.S., head of the POC department. However, luckily for him, he already had handcuffs on his chest. The live bullet hit the chain and got stuck among the links. After that, seeing that the police were going to detain him, the man shot himself in the neck. He died instantly.
