Rookie Cop Found Dead in Locker Room
18 year old female police officer with just shy of two months on the force was found dead in the locker room at the precinct station last night. She had a single GSW to the head at close range. CCTV cameras showed no personnel entering the locker room other than the decedent and the positioning of the body and the weapon both indicated a probability of suicide. Several co-workers said she had been depressed lately due to relationship trouble. A full investigation is being conducted, but suicide with her service weapon is apparently the prevailing theory.  ·  ·  ·  · |

Same thing happened near me about 25 years ago. 20 something female cop blew her brains out in the locker room after her first day on the job. A guy I knew from school was a newer cop at the same station and cleaned up the blood and brains. He said "you wouldn't believe what a .45 does to a head!".
