When I was 15 in 19th grade, a girl I knew well blew her brains out with Dad's rifle ... put it under her chin and pulled the trigger with her toe. Had bf problem, and had wrecked the family car couple of times, was grounded. Parents went out for dinner, came home and found her dead on the floor, face and brains all over the walls and ceiling. 15 to 18 is only a few monthly periods ... Now I am an adult, I have to wonder what else was wrong in her life? Dad molesting her, or the older brother or his ROTC buddies? Leslie ... I still have her beautiful face in my mind, and miss her. It's a funny thing ... I still remember her. |

For starters, 18 is too young to be a cop. Civilian, military, etc. Next - No love or ex-love is worth killing yourself over. Wonder if she would have still committed suicide had she had some other job - or was the presence of the weapon twisting her thinking. Sad.

My cop buddies' clean up job was way worse than these pictures. He said part of her head was blown away with lots of brains, blood and skull bits on everything. His department issued .45 Colt automatics. I saw the bullets and they had huge hollow points with serrated edges for expansion She killed herself at the end of her first ever police shift in a relatively calm Chicago suburb. Police work can be a difficult, shitty job and she must have realized what a cesspool she had tobogganed into. She also had had a hard life and had some other issues... |
