Robber Shot Dead by Police

In the late afternoon of Friday, April 4, 2014, at about 5pm, a clash between policemen DGE (Group Special Diligenciais) of the 6th RFP of Foz do Iguaçu and robbers of a fuel station ended with a dead robber and another inmate.

The confrontation happened shortly after the robbery at a gas station located in the Garden District Canada. Officers were in another police report nearby when individuals passed at high speed on a Honda / CB 300 motorcycle. The police immediately tried the approach that was not respected by the duo, starting a chase. BROL In Fiorino Avenue, New Town Subdivision where one of the robbers dropped the motorcycle and fired twice at police who retaliated the unjust aggression wounding the individual identified as 31 years old. The second individual identified as 23 years old, did not react to approach and was caught red-handed. Assault victims attended on site and identified the muggers whom had taken the amount of $ 1.094.00 stolen from the post office.

Two .38 caliber revolvers used in the attack and in retaliation at the police were seized. The SIATE arrived however were too late to save one of the assailants. The site was isolated until the arrival of the Homicide, Police Scientific and Medical Legal Institute.

With the arrival of the criminal expert, the place of death was isolated, and revealed nine (9) holes in the body of the mugger. After the burglar was sent to IML for necropsy and further distributed to family proceedings.
