Re: Protective Parenting Leads to Disaster

It sucks that we never see pics of good ol' American deaths. It's always the shitty countries where dying is no big deal. Like places where these motherfuckers film u dying on shitty flip phones and then step over the body when it's all over. I mean it's cool and all and I fully acknowledge that it's what makes this wonderful site, but I so desire to see pics from America.
Because we fear financial insolvency even more than death in this country. :/

The terror of having your entire life ruined and all of your money stolen by frivolous lawsuits is enough to keep every EMT, cop, ER doc, and morgue attendant in line. That CHP officer who inadvertently leaked the Nikki Catsouras photos (he showed them to some friends and family, who in turn leaked them worldwide on the net) lost his entire career and was sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars of 'emotional damages'. After that, there's just no chance.

A college student hung herself off the fire escape of her New York apartment building a few months ago. She fucking dangled there for almost two full hours before the police finally draped a sheet over her body and took it down. And not one photo made it here or anywhere. If that shit was in Mexico, we'd have had fifty different photos up here in less than 90 minutes.

But folks in America are scared of cops taking their phones if they're spotted shooting 'crime scene' photos (even though it is completely 100% legal) or being sued by family members of dead people who were 'damaged' by the photos hitting the net.

I wouldn't hold my breath for any good photos from America anytime soon.

and lawyers who would do their best to convince grieving relatives to file a lawsuit (and probably gets a percentage of the damages on top of the lawyer's fee) to anyone who breaks their "privacy". first world countries are "no pictures allowed until its allowed" stuff.

Re: Protective Parenting Leads to Disaster

This was the type of girl I liked to date in high school. I don't see the problem with her minus the whole suicide part, lol. What happened to the good ole days when you just told your parents to fuck off and crawled out the window to get away?

Not to mention, I'm surprised that leaving her with a phone wasn't enough to occupy a teenage girl for days on end. Or perhaps the problem was, it was a flip phone with no texting? Lol!
