Re: Protective Parenting Leads to Disaster
not easy being a parent in cases like that. either way, the parent always end up wrong. some comments implicates the parent should go easy on her. (she was an addict and on her way to being a drunkard. so you think just because she reacts that way to discipline, the parents would just had to let her be?) The parents were correct to try to discipline her and it was not their fault that girl's brain is not functioning like it should be to know which is right or wrong. in some countries, the discipline will not be as easy as locking her up in a room with comforts left with her like food, tv and phone. |

Re: Protective Parenting Leads to Disaster
not everywhere. in most countries, when you have managed to take the first step to a direction, it goes that way all the way and only a bump and smash or bullets will end it. most times it only takes longer and ends up the same. better that way and give the parents some relief. in first world countries, you have facilities for juveniles and an satisfactory methods and personnel to make a little chance of recovery. in most other countries, there might be juvenile facilities too... but it will always be lax and more like a big solitary grounds rather than correctional facilities. so when you go there, most chances is you dont change, you just mix up with the bigger thugs and get new and bigger ideas of idiosyncrasies to be used when you get out. and you probably will be better connected to the sources of your vices after detention too. and by the way... crooked law officers and crooked politicians also recruits new blood from juvenile facilities in most third world countries. so if youre a hardened juvenile when you go in, you will probably be an employed hardened juvenile when you get out. |

Re: Protective Parenting Leads to Disaster
She was fully suspended from the rafters in her home. Very rare circumstances for AEA or 'choking game.' I'm not saying that it isn't possible, but the state of her body and circumstances of the scene would be far more in favor of suicide than recreational hanging here. |
