WOMAN FOUND BEATEN TO DEATH IN ABANDONED KENSINGTON HOME ID'D

Police have identified a woman found beaten to death inside an abandoned home in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

The 30-year-old was discovered around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on the 2900 block of Rosehill Street.

Officers say they were tipped off to the homicide after they conducted a pedestrian stop. That person told them to check the home.

When they did, they found the body.
"Once they got inside on the first floor, they found she had apparently been bludgeoned to death," said Philadelphia Police Capt. James Clark.

Police say she was beaten in the head, and pronounced dead on the scene by medics.
Neighbors tell Action News the abandoned property is a known drug house. It was in such poor conditions, the detectives wore hazmat suits as they investigated.

They carried away the front door of the home for evidence. One person was questioned, but so far no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

It's not in her butt, but she appears to be lying on it. The gluteal muscle is the site of choice for deep Intramuscular (IM) injections. However, there are no useable veins there for Intravenous (IV) use.

No problem Daniel, we've all done it and it's something extremely easy to overlook

As I understand it, it's mainly on articles from Western Europe that names should be omitted so they don't crop up on a gore site when Google searched then the families give Chris hassle.
