From the bloody hacksaw, looks like the autopsy guys hacked her legs / arms off. Perhaps they couldn't open her legs wide enough from the rigor mortis to thrust properly. Or it was just for a gag ("I've always wanted to chop the arms and legs off one of these!"). I have a friend who is a doctor, he said they would turn bodies over and put apples in their mouths in the morgue. Don't know if they could get away with a chop job, though...
