kinda doubting it was suicide, if you look closely on the womans head on pic 1 you can see a helmet so I'm assuming maybe she was on a motorbike/scooter, Didn't check to see if there was any traffic and just pulled out without warning.

Personally I think that's what happened, Otherwise if the mother wanted rid of the child, I would have imagined she'd take action before it got to that stage of growth.

Shame though.
