That, and my OB was on coke when he cut me and instead of cutting me about 8 inches he cut me from hip bone to hip bone. I had over 130-some odd staples in my stomach. I had my eldest on a Thursday. By the time I went to get the staples pulled on Monday the following week I had expelled all but 56 staples. Mine didn't get too infected, but I did end up in the ER that weekend from infection. Yay! Doctors on coke!

Oh, and for the record they don't cut all the way across. My first stupid doctor was an idiot. The cut a small incision and then rip the skin the rest of the way apart. Why? Because torn skin heals better and faster then cut skin.

My cousin recently had a c-section and the OR staff actually let her old man film the entire procedure. They won't give me the tape to put on here. lmao Yes, I have asked. Many many times.
It very well could have been from a c-section. If she had infection like that, they would have to remove the dead skin and tissue. It almost looks like she may have a touch of gangrene. From personal experience I know that they do NOT reclose a c-section once there is infection, the let it close on its own. My second child was a vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean) My uterus ruptured, so of course they had to cut me anyway to go repair. It was EXACTLY the same cut as a c-section. I had staples, they were taken out the day I left the hospital. Seemed WAY to early, maybe 48 hours. The day after I got home, I went and sat on the couch, and heard a pop. I felt my incision and sure enough, it was wide open. They told me to keep it covered and dry, and they just let it heal on its own. At the end I had a small spot that had formed a lip and it was infected. They removed a small area of tissue and cauterized it. All together it took about 3 months to heal.

I got an infection from my c section and I spent 2 months in wound therapy trying to fix it.

Hospitals are fin rife with staph and mersa infections.

Dunno what her gash is. But mine OPENED with puss oozing out about 1 week after my section. The doctor reopened me and packed me with gauze and I wore a vaccum to suck the puss out for months.

NIGHTMARE.
