An exit wound on the palm of a hand.  Cardiomegaly related to a case of morbid obesity, where the size of the heart approximates that of the brain.  Impact sites of lead pellets on the inner table of a skull due to a shotgun wound to the head.  Ligature strangulation marks.  Hemopericardium, blunt force trauma to the chest causes the coronary arteries and/or myocardium to rupture and bleed into the pericardium.  Pontomedullary laceration in a 53-year-old man before removing subarachnoidal blood clot, posterior head impact, with hinge fracture of skull base.  A Collection of Human Brains from the Texas State Mental Hospital  Postmortem human decomposition stain left on a mattress in the shape of a body.  Skullbase  These are the lungs of a patient with tuberculosis on autopsy. Note the necrosis in the upper portions of both lungs.  Hydrocephalus A dilatation of the cerebral ventricles and extreme atrophy of white matter.  Osteosarcoma of the cranium  Suicide by electrocution. Although uncommon, this victim wired his left ankle as well as a ring around the left thumb(as seen here). The path of the current in this case involved the heart and the assumable cause of death was ventricular fibrillation.  Tardieu spots are a sign of asphyxiation.
