Re: Police Demolition in the Philippines

maybe they should try calling themselves Police. The fact that they're called PULIS apparently gives them the right to act like fucking savages with the citizenry, homeless or not

perhaps you're not aware of this, but POLICE is spelled differently in other languages/countries.

Re: Police Demolition in the Philippines

I remember seeing this in the evening news. The police got fed up because the informal settlers badly injured a few of the policemen. The man in the blue shirt was caught red handed throwing huge rocks at the policemen thus injuring the cops and trashing the police car.

This is what happens when you try to play around with people who don't play around.

Keep tryin' though. You never know. You might live through it.

Re: Police Demolition in the Philippines

the rioters were given 18 months to vacate. . yet most chose to stay and fight. you can see they even build concrete structures on property they dont own. very typical of the philippines.

Re: Police Demolition in the Philippines

There is a difference between a police beat down and police becoming involved in a brawl, police are people too and you hit them enough they will lose it just like anyone else and fight back the big difference being the rioters had the option of leaving, the police did not.
they are people too WITH SWORN RESPONSIBILITY UPHOLD LAW WITH MAXIMUM TOLERANCE "UNLIKE everybody else". there's a difference. civilians don't have that. No excuse to go beating those who were fighting for their rights
