Re: Oxygen Tank Explosion
Dust pan next to the foot, I guess they waiting for medical examiner permission to remove the body. p.s. luckily the feet have all the toes so the mortician can put the right foot on the right side and the left foot on the left side. It would be a bitch to have them reversed. |

Re: Oxygen Tank Explosion
Ouch, that was a powerfull boom. Gas cylinders generally can be pretty bad-ass. Some years ago i fucked up installing a freshly filled 50 l acetylene cylinder. The cylinder slipped out of my hands and fell to the ground. As soon as the valve broke off, the cylinder went ballistic -it flew like a missile across the yard, through a concrete-wall, then it slammed into a car door of a Mercedes E 300 AMG, which got a new paint-job in our shop two days before. Needless to say, when i told my boss what happened, it was him who went ballistic. |

Re: Oxygen Tank Explosion
Yep, looks exactly like what Jaws did in the movie. My x had a grandma that chained smoked while she was on oxygen. One day she lit up and all we saw was a huge flash of light. She was completely on fire from her shoulders up. Couldn't even see her face through the flames. Very stupid. God forbid she stop smoking when she got emphysema and had to have constant oxygen. She always said she wanted to die with a cigarette hanging from her mouth. I don't know how the apartment kept from catching on fire. She died a few months later. |
