19 year old girl and her 24 year old husband were out drinking together at a neighborhood party. They got into an argument in front of witnesses and left the party together, bickering like cats and dogs.

At some point during the night, the 'discussion' must have escalated, because he wound up wrapping a speaker wire around his wife's throat and choking her to death on the floor of their apartment.

He was apprehended the next morning. Another 'crime of passion', as the reporters like to say.
