Re: OK, Try This Again, My Brother Od'd from Bad Heroin
and what are you? Perfect? All humans make mistakes. What gives you the right to judge which ones deserve to die for them? If you understood anything about addiction you wouldn't be saying that shit. The guy was human too, with a family. He just had issues as many of us do! I bet you drink and smoke and drink coffee right?

Wow, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of your brother. I can relate, here in Chicago, Illinois we are having bad heroin deals as well. I lost my cousin, Sara, to a heroin overdose in 2014. She was 22 years old and left behind a 15 month old daughter. It has to stop.

Re: OK, Try This Again, My Brother Od'd from Bad Heroin
fent poisonings have been very common in the US recently. i worry about so many of my friends. i don't want the first time i learn of their using drugs to be at their funeral. i wish there wasn't so much shame around these issues, since so fucking many of us suffer from addictions of our own. i have had issues with booze in the past, and people readily offered to help me simply bc it's legal. that same willingness to help your peers reach sobriety should be applied to any case of addiction. if we extended compassion regardless of the substance in question there'd be so fewer losses.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was handsome. Drugs indeed is an epidemic, a very deadly one. Over here it was mostly weed ( europe ) just recently young people, teens, are hooked on GHB as it seems. Today another media article wrote about the upcoming of that horrible drug. |
