This isn't new, but I recently lit upon a large chunk of Honduran news archives and came across it for the first time. Images are not top quality, but they aren't terrible and it was a pretty big case at the time.

The niece of the former Honduran president (his brother's daughter), 39, and her husband, 35, were executed in a drive-by shooting while they were in their vehicle. A car pulled up alongside them and emptied 27 shots into the front windshield and driver's side door of their car. 15 shots hit the husband in various parts of his body and 3 hit the wife, all in the shoulder and upper chest. Their 4 year old child was also injured, but survived. The mother and father both died at the scene.

It was later determined that the assassination was a vengeance killing against the husband, who had a criminal past and a murder charge that had apparently been hushed up. The assassins were associates of the man her husband allegedly killed.

Love how there are lots of bullets but no blood on either of them...did Dracula get there first or was it nicely staged. That nice grouping would have made the girl a fountain, especially with her head hanging over her torso.

You're right. I staged it all myself.

Haven't been here long, have you? Take a look at some of the gunshot fatalities on this site. Sure, some of them look like a fucking abattoir. But many of them have almost no blood at the scene at all or, if they do, the blood is pooled up under the bodies. Not spraying all over the place like a fucking yard sprinkler.

Your fucking 'fountain' nonsense is best reserved for Hollywood. It happens far more frequently there than it does in real life.

As for the 'tight grouping', I told you specifically in the OP that she was only hit by 3 bullets, all of which were in the shoulder or the chest immediately below the shoulder. Almost half the shots they put into the vehicle didn't hit anything at all.

Edit: Looking more closely at the photo of them lying next to the vehicle, I'll note that the husband's body is largely obscured, but since he is wearing an orange shirt and the resolution on the photo sucks ass, it would be difficult to discern exactly how blood-soaked he is or isn't. But the newspaper article and the US State Department (several reports of this assassination were part of the Wikileaks leak, so correspondence about it between US government officials is available) both claim that he was hit by 15 of the shots. The woman's shoulder area is obscured due to the angle and her green outer shirt has been removed, but you can see blood on her left wrist and arm in the photos. She's also very obviously pissed herself while dying.

I'm confused as to what exactly you're bitching about. Are you implying that they aren't really dead? That they weren't really shot in the car? That someone cleaned up the entire crime scene (which was on a busy public street) before the media arrived to photograph it? That I photoshopped the entire thing? What is your point?

Most times vigilante groups are never a good thing. Hence a woman has to die and a small and very innocent 4 year old child is hurt and orphaned. [Sigh]
