I'd guess blood loss, but according to reports it would have taken her 10 seconds to lose consciousness.

i am very sure this is her, from what i have been told from the owner of the picture.
the neck laceration fits with the coroners description as well, it intersects a deep stab wound with a squared off edge, that also fits the description. the other superficial slits/ stab wounds to her neck are hard to see from the position of her body. the back ground is different because she has a body bag underneath her. this is not the same picture as the one with the black box, but a picture taken to illustrate the left side of the wound.
