Narco 'First Lady' Kidnapped and Suffocated
So two gun-thugs were noticed speeding away from a police vehicle that turned the corner where they were parked. They were quickly apprehended and arrested for visible possession of drugs. The policiaca got quite a surprise, however, when they decided to jimmy the trunk and look inside. Within was the lethally suffocated body of a 25 year old woman. In this case, the wife of a very prominent cartel member in Michoacan. She was involved in the cartel herself and was known in Mexico as "The First Lady of Drug Trafficking" due to her husband's high position in the organization. The men confessed almost immediately that they had been hunting her for several days and finally lifted her from a parking garage. They tried to extort money from her (they claimed her husband owed them), but she refused. So they knocked her around a bit and then taped a plastic bag around her head and and left her in the trunk to slowly suffocate to death. COD was asphyxia by suffocation and the ME estimated that she had been dead less than 20 minutes before being discovered. They had a can of gas in the car, intending to burn her body, but the cops arrived before they got a chance to pour it. Included here are several photos of her while alive and two of her after her death. There weren't many post-mortem photos available, but this was a pretty high profile case, so beggars can't be choosers. The first photo is of her lying in the trunk on her left side. You can see the plastic bag taped to her head, but little else in the way of detail. In the other photo, she is partially obscured by a sheet, with only part of her left side visible, as she is lying on her right side on a stretcher after being removed from the trunk. Still not a lot of detail in this image, either. You can see that she urinated in her pants while suffocating (almost a foregone conclusion with that type of death), but can't really make out much else. No blood, no facial detail, no full length views. I did what I could to find more images, but didn't have much luck. Still, she was a pretty big name in narco circles, so the case is noteworthy regardless. |

Her visibility in public and lack of precaution was a fast track to her beautiful demise....pretty women like to be seen. |
