The Nameless: People Looking To Be Identified
The second installment of my NAMus thread, so I'm guessing a mod will probably merge the two together. Thanks guys County employees, working in the area, found this apparently homeless person lying in the desert area behind a road barrier alongside a northbound highway. Officers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle carrying the decedent. The vehicle failed to stop and drove off into a farm field. Officers lost sight of the vehicle (van), but located it a short time later on a dirt road near the canal. A search of the area located one subject who indicated that he and a female had climbed the fence and jumped in the canal. The subject took officers to the location she was last seen and indicated that after jumping in, he never saw her re-surface. A search of the area by Pinal county rescue was negative. The decedent was found the following morning in the canal; unknown at this time if she was found in the same area she jumped into. In the area she was located, the water was traveling 374 cfs and was 20' deep. (note when you zoom in, there appears to be blood between her teeth. This is consistent with most drowning victims) Struck by vehicle during foot pursuit by Dallas County Constables Office This gooey looking man was found on the subway platform at 41st street and 7th avenue, New York, N.Y and moved to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. DHS was notified. Decedent was found unresponsive on a subway platform. Removed to hospital where he was pronounced. (Also in New York City, though the cases seem unrelated) Victim attempted to walk across freeway on-ramp and was struck by multiple vehicles. Possible transient, no ID or prints on file. This man suffered a seizure before becoming unresponsive, transported to Methodist Dallas ER, only known as "Juan" (notice on the lower portion of the photo what appears to be autopsy incisions?) Decedent was ejected from vehicle during roll-over accident while being pursued by law enforcement officers. Two fatalities resulted (see ML08-0945) and several injured occupants were identified as undocumented migrants. Found floating in Braes Bayou, Texas. Body is entering early stages of bloat, most noticeable around the eyes. This man was found laying face down with fixed lividity His arm is just gross, though Interesting case of post mortem sunburn. Body found in desert by local ranch hand. Decomposing body found behind a muffler shop. Found by a man walking a dog in wooded area. No obvious trauma. (I think this is the scariest find on the site) ![]() Man found in New Jersey. No other information available This is the crown jewel of all my exploration on NAMus.org. I have been visiting the site since 2009. When a decedents face has decomposed this far past recognition, an artists rendition, either drawn by hand or a facial reconstruction with clay, is used in it’s place. But if you look closely, all the soft tissue on this skull is adipocerous, not clay! There’s even the remnants’ of facial hair! I’m completely geeking out over this! Body was found in the Detroit River-Possible drowning victim. It appeared to have been in the water for several weeks to months. The Anthropologist noted that this person was probably Black, but may have had some white admixture as pertaining to his race. My other thread http://www.documentingreality.com/fo...-namus-120055/ |
