Re: My Stillborn Daughter, She Died of a Placental Abruption
My wife and I are went through that notion also, my son Nicholas was born 11/28/10 (five months after my birthday, since it's 6/28), was a stillborn at 21 weeks. It was mostly medical negligence because before we moved the doctor had her as a high risk patient and the new hospital refused to read her medical records and wanted to start fresh, meaning she would have gotten her cervical cerclage done earlier, because at 19 weeks she complained that she was leaking a lot of fluids, went to the hospital and they told her she was dilated 5cm already. They did the emergency cerclage and it only lasted two weeks when her bag broke because she got the strepp B virus and was induced into labor that same day. I know she was 21 weeks but I had hoped that he would make it after reading that some miracle babies have survived that early before, but the hospital I was in refused to give him neo natal care so they let me see him for a bit that night and later on until his burial. I had the chance of a priest baptizing him after he was born, but it was pretty hard on us at first, some curious stuff is that unknown to us at the time, was the date of his burial, december 6th, was the day of the patron saint Nicholas Now my wife is pregnant with twins and she's getting induced next week at 36 weeks! Here is the stuff we bought for our first son, which we ended up returning(the hardest part) and we learned to buy the babies stuff after 24 weeks when we got the steroid injection for the lung development. ![]() |

Re: My Stillborn Daughter, She Died of a Placental Abruption
My heart breaks for the loss of a child and the pain and grief. But seriously this is a gore reality site and people gawk and make horrible comments about pictures all the time.......and they are all someone's child. So I hope you are all posting heartfelt condolences for the other threads too.

I'm sorry for your lost. It's sad that some are not even given the chance to live while others have outlived their cruel life. People pray to God, but how can a God be so just. Good people suffer whole evil people live happy. |

Re: My Stillborn Daughter, She Died of a Placental Abruption
It was hard. It's still hard. I carried her for 31 weeks. But, death is apart of life. I did become pregnant again and because of the previous out come, my second pregnancy was considered high risk. But, I ended up delivering my baby 5 days after the estimated due date. A healthy baby boy, 7lbs 11oz, 21 inches long and I named him Dante. He is now 3 years old. :) |

Your daughter is beautiful. This is a temporary separation only.
