Some awful, more were bizzare though. We took up a man that was buried with full military honors back in 1978 I think. We got the casket uncovered fairly quickly because there was no burial vault. The casket had rusted in two halfway up because any disturbed ground will hold water, even if it is filled back in with dirt. We started to get the casket up and it came apart, which we were kind of expecting. What we were not expecting however was the skull had spiderwebs in the eye sockets !! We dug him up, and put him in his new wife's husband's family burial plot, and this time he was buried in a vault as well.  |
