I'm kinda surprised that charred guy has maggots on his face...I figured that anything that maggots would want to feed on would have been incinerated away.

Plenty of tissue left on this case, photos probably don't suggest that, second to last photo you can see a bit more. It seems fairly rare to have remains that are completely incinerated, there usually seems to be a degree of tissue/viscera left. unless of course they have just been cremated :)

Great pics/post & good job in keeping the deceased anonymity. There isn't any way in hell to identify what is left of the remains!

Just been back for my 3rd or 4th (or 1000th!!) look. These pics truly are amazing. The detail when you click on them is fantastic. Spend half my free time just studying them. How I'd love your job!!! |
